HOW ARE YOU RAISING MONEY IF THE EVENT IS FREE?
There is no entrance fee to attend JackFest. We want the festival to be accessible to anyone that wants to attend. Funds are raised through sponsorship, donations, the team fundraising challenge, registration fees for the kids' races, food and beverage sales, and merchandise sales.
WHERE DO THE FUNDS THAT ARE RAISED THROUGH JACKFEST GO?
All funds raised through JackFest will be split between our two event beneficiaries, the Ronald McDonald House of Charlottesville and the Pediatric Oncology program at UVA Children’s Hospital. The 2022 JackFest raised more than $47,000 for these organizations.
WHICH EVENTS REQUIRE REGISTRATION?
The Kids' Superhero Dash and Mighty One Mile Run both require registration. The Child-Parent 2x200m Relay Race is free, but also requires registration too. Registration information for each of these events can be found on the Festival Information page.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT JACKFEST
No, we love dogs, but they're not allowed out on the Foxfield property, so please leave them at home. Sorry about that. We have one that will be chilling at home, too. Maybe we can arrange a doggie playdate?

ARE OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE ALLOWED?
We will have local food trucks and drink trucks on site. We encourage you to patronize them. But, you are welcome to bring your own food, if you like. However, outside alcohol is PROHIBITED per our ABC license.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
JackFest is taking place at Foxfield in Charlottesville, VA. The address for Foxfield is 2215 Foxfield Track, Charlottesville VA, 22901.
From Northern Virginia: Take 29 South to the Charlottesville Airport, turning right onto Airport Road. At the first traffic circle, take the third exit onto Rt 606. At the second traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto Earlysville Road. After 3 miles, take a right onto Woodlands Road, then travel 4 miles to Rt 601. Turn left onto 601, then take one more left to stay on 601. Foxfield will be immediately on your right.
From Downtown Charlottesville: Take Barracks Road/Rt 601 out of town for approximately 4 miles, and Foxfield will be on your left.
From the Shenandoah Valley: Take I-64 East to exit 107 for Rt 250. Follow 250 for 8 miles, then turn left onto Owensville Road. At the end, turn right onto Garth Road, and after 1.3 miles Foxfield Races will be on your right.
From Richmond: Take I-64 West until exit 124 for Rt 250 for Charlottesville. Follow 250 for 5 miles, then take the Barracks Road exit, and turn right. Continue onto Rt 601 for 4 miles, and then Foxfield will be on your left.
